Jennifer Boles

Jen Boles is a nonfiction filmmaker-editor-historian-teacher based out of Chicago. In her work, she animates archives to think about the contingencies of history and uncertainties of our present and future. She received a PhD in History at Indiana University in 2015 and an MFA in Documentary Media at Northwestern University in 2019. She teaches film studies and serves as the Program Coordinator of a fellowship program at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
